SENIOR BIM ENGINEER

POSITION-RELATED INFORMATION

COMPENSATION TYPE : monthly

WORK SCHEDULE : Full-time (40h/week)

EMPLOYMENT STATUS : Permanent

WORK LOCATION : Dubai Office

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Prepare lighting layouts using AutoCAD and/or BIM software.
  • Develop and update lighting BIM models (Revit).
  • Support quantity take-offs and basic lighting documentation when required.
  • Coordinate lighting drawings with architectural, electrical, and project teams.
  • Prepare shop drawings, layouts, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
  • Create and place lighting fixtures, controls, and related electrical elements in BIM models.
  • Perform clash detection and support coordination meetings.
  • Incorporate design changes and markups accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain drawing standards, layers, families, and project templates.
  • Ensure drawings comply with client specifications, project standards, and applicable codes.
  • Ensure drawings meet overall project requirements and standards.

REQUIREMENTS AND DESIRED SKILLS :

  • Knowledge of lighting systems and layouts.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM).
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and electrical drawings.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS :

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 to 8 years in a similar AutoCAD /BIM Draftsman role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Technical Degree (Equivalent)
