Crossroad for Encounters

AV Equipment and multifunctional room

Drummondville Public Library

Drummondville, Canada, 2017

Opened in 2017, the new Drummondville library is in the Francine-Ruest-Jutras LEED certified building. The library is obviously connected to its era, it offers enhanced services to its visitors. Different spaces have been arranged, including a room specifically for teenagers, a multifunction room that can be turned into a small theater, a space for toddlers, training rooms, exhibition areas, gardens and a coffee shop. The administration’s desire is to make it a crossroad for citizens ‘encounters. The XYZ team was mandated to integrate the audiovisual equipment of the library.

Description

XYZ’s experts have equipped the multifunctional room with complete modular theater equipment: lighting equipment, video projector and screen, sound system and console, and programmed pre-sets lighting. The team also ensured the integration of all video signage throughout the library and the installation of the AV connection plates.
