Backed by such in-depth expertise, XYZ Technologies bid for and won a request for proposals from the Université de Montréal’s affiliated hospital research centre, the CRCHUM, for a project to update the audiovisual space of their amphitheatre. This endeavor brought both organizations into close collaboration, culminating in the delivery of a truly remarkable project.
The mandate, as specified in the request for proposals, included replacing lamp projectors with LED video walls, improving the sound capture and reproduction quality, installing a professional grade lighting system with motorized projectors, and implementing a new solution for the full video system.
Although the project description was very detailed, the teams faced major unforeseen challenges that resulted in significant technological hurdles. In particular, they had to demonstrate ingenuity to compensate for the unavailability of the Analog Way system originally selected for this project.
Through an innovative and collaborative approach, XYZ Technologies successfully modernized the CRCHUM Amphitheater while meeting current and future technology needs. Our experts integrated a speaker system, motorized projectors, microphone capture tiles, two simplified multifunctional podiums, two high-resolution LED screens, as well as digital cameras, and set up a comprehensive audiovisual control room.
This collaboration has enabled the CRCHUM to achieve a higher level of performance and flexibility, positioning it as a research center capable of supporting audiovisual events of various scales.
