Aichi, Japan, 2005
The Canada Pavilion at Expo 2005 in Aichi Japan drew 3.3 million visitors, more than double the number originally planned by Canadian organizers.
Visitors were invited to explore the splendor of Canadian wilderness through a presentation of high definition images, sound and lighting at the Geosphere and Biosphere. The Ethnosphere featured customs, languages, innovations and creative elements that are Canada’s hallmarks. Finally the Cyber lounge allowed visitors to participate in a virtual quest to deepen their knowledge of Canada.
