The Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal had a new auditorium built with an audience capacity of 210 and a technical infrastructure that accommodates a variety of audiovisual sources.
A digital projection system enables video sources to be broadcast from connection points on stage and at the back of the auditorium. A sound playback system draws on five defined zones to create an even distribution of sound for all members of the audience. An auto-mixer automatically assigns and mixes the sound sources. The components are programmed such that the system as a whole is extremely simple to operate.
