Montreal, Quebec, Canada, 2011
As part of its History and Memory exhibit, the Stewart Museum displays a model of the fortified city of Montreal that engages the viewer in a unique interactive experience.
The model, completely restored in 2011, now uses technology to combine historical interpretation with illustrations from the Museum’s collections. With this restored model, visitors can literally “touch” history.
Various layers of video content bring this installation to life, creating a fun and dynamic experience.
