In 2017, canadian fashioner retailer Simons opened its fourteenth branch in downtown Calgary in The Core Building built in 1919. The address is a perfect fit between the brand’s modern aesthetic and the heritage of the historic building. scope. Simons has called upon the expertise of XYZ Cultural Technology to integrate a sound system perfectly integrated with the period architecture in the multiple rooms of the building, each with its own style.
XYZ’s experts have integrated 250 ceiling speakers and 32 pendant speakers across the various spaces of Calgary’s Simons. A system of 8 ultra-powerful mini speakers was installed in the lobby to maximize the impact on visitors upon their arrival. The team also provided an audio processor and control system to facilitate the use of the system. Simons Calgary now has a sound system that lives up to the elegance of the place.
