The roadside control room of the Department of Transport, Sustainable Mobility and Transportation Electrification for the National Capital Region oversees all highways in the Quebec City metropolitan community. Roads and highways are monitored 24 hours a day, using a network of approximately 300 cameras whose images are broadcasted live on computers and on a huge video wall. The administrators at the monitoring centre called on XYZ experts to redo the entire display area.
The new video wall of the traffic control center of the agglomeration of Quebec City is now composed of 36 55’’ LCD screens with ultra thin frame, connected by optical fiber. XYZ specialists have redesigned the screen attachment infrastructure to optimize the solution and adapt it to new screens.
