With the goal of creating a leading technology entrepreneurship hub—where flexible spaces could accommodate everything from intimate strategic meetings to large-scale international events— the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) partnered with trusted collaborators to bring Espace Ax.c to life.
To meet users’ needs, it was essential to create a seamless, professional, and frictionless experience, aligned with the standards of the world’s leading technology hubs. The top priority was therefore ease of use: intuitive and reliable equipment that would allow users to focus on the content of their meetings rather than on the technology. The audiovisual quality had to be impeccable and facilitate complex hybrid setups combining in-person attendance with virtual participation, in order to position Espace Ax.c as a credible, attractive venue at the cutting edge of innovation. Particular attention was also given to the harmonious integration of technology within an environment designed to be modern, welcoming, and high-end. The ultimate goal was clear: to offer technologically advanced and user-friendly spaces, thereby fostering adoption and efficiency among entrepreneurial teams.
Marked by a significant redesign of the solution originally planned, the implementation of this project required an agile and rigorous approach, as well as numerous adjustments between each phase of the project in order to adequately meet the actual needs of ÉTS. Several changes were made along the way, both in terms of the installed equipment and the communications and conferencing system, where Catchbox microphones were integrated to encourage active and engaging participation from all speakers.
Furthermore, despite the restrictions related to the secure mounting of the large screens and projectors in the Parquet room due to the building’s structural complexity, the main challenge for our team was the interconnectivity of the various rooms via a network of several kilometers of fiber-optic cable. With 100,000 square feet of private offices, shared spaces, incubators, and interconnected collaborative spaces spread across different floors, our solution enabled instant information sharing between remote locations.
By embracing these major changes, XYZ Technologies delivered a robust audiovisual ecosystem capable of precisely meeting the client’s actual needs,thereby demonstrating its ability to transform technical challenges and unforeseen developments into high-performance, human-centered solutions for the future.
