Downtown Montreal is now home to a new cultural and community space: the Sanaaq Centre. Envisioned as a hub for gathering, dialogue, learning, and entertainment, it offers citizens a modern library, as well as various cultural and community spaces.
The centre provides a rich and diverse range of services that reflect the cultural diversity of the surrounding neighbourhood. Music, digital technology and Indigenous cultures occupy a special place here, establishing the centre as a true crossroads of inclusion, creativity and community living.
The Sanaaq Centre’s modern architecture, impressive collection of materials available for loan, and a 255-seat performance hall are just some of the features that set it apart.
XYZ Technologies was honoured to be selected as one of the bidders to contribute to this symbolic and inspiring project. Our scope of work was to design and deliver a comprehensive audiovisual infrastructure, including the supply of equipment, fabrication, installation, calibration, programming, and team training across a wide range of multimedia systems. By integrating sound, video, scenographic and museum lighting solutions, we helped bring several spaces to life, including the Agora, the performance hall and the exhibition hall, the multimedia rooms and the activity room.
Our audiovisual expertise was creatively applied throughout the project, with particular focus on the user experience. Our teams worked efficiently, anticipating future technological integrations and providing the technical staff with the necessary training to ensure their full autonomy.
Thanks to this collaboration, the Sanaaq Centre has become a modern, inclusive and inspiring venue dedicated to enriching Montreal’s cultural and community life.
